2020 has taken everyone for a roller-coaster ride…
We would like to thank all of you who have thought of us:
We wish you very happy holidays and a happy new year!
The show must go on!
Celler Devinssi team
Yuletide is getting closer, so we’re facing this period when everybody’s looking for a special gift, whether for Christmas or for the New Year. There are also presents for people who love wine, who love exporing the world of wine-making, discovering vineyard panoramas, sharing a nice chat with friends and family over a glass of wine, or strolling through vineyard aisles and visiting wineries…
We can give them, say, a Christmas gift set featuring a wine selection to their taste, or surprise them with a wine tourism experience (for example a grape escape to wine making region with wine tastings and stays at small hotels or rural cottages in the area).
It’s quite a few years since we started promoting the gift idea for wine lovers that brings together our DOQ Priorat wines and an experience that, actually, goes beyond Continue reading

April, a month of peace and quiet?
Dear grapevine adopters,
Vineyards are so full of flowers and so beautiful… The landscape is completely awash in springtime this April. What a panoramic luxury. Continue reading
Març plujós dóna bones collites (Rainy March yields good crops. A Catalan saying)
Well, finally, nature has made up for the previous lack of grass and flowers, which was so obvious! Winds brought clouds, the clouds shed fresh rains, the rains entailed the grass boom! Did you know why it’s important to keep the grass growing at our vineyards? Continue reading
Quan el dia creix el fred neix (a Catalan saying) ≈ As the day lengthens, so the cold strengthens
Okay, so January was quite a springtime… What about February? According to the popular wisdom, February has longer days but it’s often the coldest month of the year, here in Priorat. Quite a windy month, although also with nice periods of sunshine and calm: we wre even able to pick wild asparagus. The month completed with some modest snowfalls in the mountains. See the video filmed by our vine adopter Jaime Boldú in the villages of Siurana and Albarca, nestling on high rockd in the northern part of Priorat. Here in Gratallops we didn’t see a single snowflake, and on the next day it was quite warm. Continue reading
Should almonds bloom in January?
Of course, every year, there are just a few almond trees that blossom early… But this time it’s been a blossom crush! Both in Priorat and everyplace. Good weather, sometimes overly good, has favoured vineyard works, because it makes the vine pruning a nicer experience. Zero rains, little wind, plenty of sunny days, quite a spring break for a winter… In fact, we saw the first almond blossoms on 2 January! Continue reading
They’re already home!!! Mas Les Valls 2013 and Il·lia 2012, the cava coming soon. If you want to enjoy wines like these ones, adopt a grapevine in Priorat and take home the outcome of the harvest. Celler Devinssi gives you a chance.
Happy New Year, dear vine adopters!
Today we’re going to keep it short, however there are some details to share.
Your grapevines had a very happy December. Unwinding, hibernating and waiting for the new challenges in 2016. At the winery, we used the time to handle the Christmas campaing and unstoppable wine tours. The season doesn’t seem to be over. Just check this out: we already have a bunch of bookings for this January! Continue reading
For our winery, 2015 has been quite demanding from beginning to end. A marvellous grape harvest after a very changeable summer (with August-style July vs. mellow August)… There have been so many nice moments that it’s a challenge for us to choose twenty of them and draw the bottom line. Thank you all for thinking about us and for your treasurable collaboration. We wish you a Merry Christmass and a Happy 2016!
1. The year started with the whizz-bang article by Laura Casas for La Vanguardia Tarragona about our grapevine adoptions in Priorat. The article was out on 2 January and it had such a viral wallop that from 2 to 6 January we couldn’t help preparing adoption packages. Apart from that, some radio stations, like La Xarxa or Onda Cero, called us for interviews, while Ruth Troyano gave a detailed account of our initiative in her air section called “El Porró” at the Ona La Torre radio.
2. Do you remember the snowsall on 4 February? Well, here’s the video. Continue reading
Promotion for current grapevine adopters. Your vines would like to thank you for this year of support that you gave them. So the end-of-year festivities is a good excuse to raise a glass of cava to you!
We enhanced the adoption formulas A (3 vines) and B (2 vines) with a bottle of cava Renardes Brut Nature AS A GIFT for your celebrations. We kept formula C (1 vine) unmodified, however, Continue reading
