Mas de les Valls (DOQ Priorat): the evolution of the brand

In 2008 we started producing Rocapoll, the 100% Carignan wine that comes from an old, sloped vineyard in Gratallops and is our top, having very limited production.

Today we are going to talk about Mas de les Valls, the wine that comes from different plots of vineyards located in Gratallops and that, together with our tops, has gained a lot of prominence in our range of wines. In fact, Continue reading

A morning in the vineyards. 10am wine tastings at a 20% discount!

“Si del dia vols profit, que no et trobi el sol al llit”. A Catalan saying. (“The early bird catches the worm”… or maybe the wine?)

We have a new proposal for those of you who are able to get up earlier to enjoy a wine tasting in the vineyard.

On the one hand, we see the current demand for our wine tastings and, on the other hand, we must stick with the safety rules against Covid-19, which force us to limit the visitor count per group.

Therefore, for your safety, we suggest that you also take advantage of the 10am to 12 noon time slot to visit Celler Devinssi. To reward early-bird visitors who want to turn up at 10am, we offer you a 20% discount on the price of any type of visit you choose. It also applies to gift vouchers (ask us for the online shop discount code).

Into the bargain, early birds will have a 5% discount on the price of wine purchased at the cellar door.

The promotion is not cumulative. Valid until 31 December 2021.

Stay healthy and enjoy wine!  (IN MODERATION)

P.S. If you feel like starting at 9am, let’s haggle the discount! We’ll surely find common ground 🙂

The new format of our wine tasting with pica-pica (local nibbles)

Many visitors ask to taste wines paired with local products.

Over time, observing how this experience works, we’ve come up with the exact list of ingredients you generally like.

Here they are: fuet, jamón, cheese, Arbequina olives, pa amb tomàquet i oli, nuts.

Now, with the new safety rules, we serve these nibbles in individual lunchboxes.

Here are a couple of photos. Do you fancy it?

We also have the wine-and-food pairing option for vegetarians and vegans. It includes vegan sausage and cheese. For vegetarians, it can include sheep, goat or mixed cheese.

Please remember that any wine tour should be booked at least TWO DAYS BEFOREHAND

ROCAPOLL visit

You’ve been asking us about the difference between the standard winery tour and that of Rocapoll. The latter type includes the standard visit plus Rocapoll wine tasting (vi de la vila de Gratallops, Carignane from a nearly 100-year-old vineyard) + some cheese and cured ham.

  • ROCAPOLL tour: vineyard escape + winery tour + wine tasting, including our Rocapoll = 100€ / 2 persons (for larger groups, please conact us)

Wine tasting with pairings (local product)

➡️ The new format of our wine tasting with pica-pica (local nibbles)

Since our winery guests have been increasingly asking for wine tastings with local products, we’re sharing a couple of pictures so that you can see what they consist of.

You can also purchase them as gift vouchers.

  • Vineyard escape + winery tour + wine tasting + pairing with local products = 30€ / 1 person (2 persons minimum)

A vineyard in Priorat as a Christmas gift!

original gift idea christmas adopt a grapevine priorat devinssi

Yuletide is getting closer, so we’re facing this period when everybody’s looking for a special gift, whether for Christmas or for the New Year. There are also presents for people who love wine, who love exporing the world of wine-making, discovering vineyard panoramas, sharing a nice chat with friends and family over a glass of wine, or strolling through vineyard aisles and visiting wineries…

We can give them, say, a Christmas gift set featuring a wine selection to their taste, or surprise them with a wine tourism experience (for example a grape escape to wine making region with wine tastings and stays at small hotels or rural cottages in the area).

It’s quite a few years since we started promoting the gift idea for wine lovers that brings together our DOQ Priorat wines and an experience that, actually, goes beyond Continue reading
