01 May 17th Wine Fair in Falset (Priorat): 5, 6, and 7 May, 2012
As to the wine tours segment, according to the Priorat Tourist Information Office, wine tour visits have been going up over the last year in our wine-growing and -making region, which is good news, too, since, reasonably, wine lovers tend to spend some money on the wines they taste onsite.
In 2011, the Wine Fair was set up outside the Wine Castle of Falset. This year, the Fair is moving to the central Miquel Barceló Street, just next to the Cooperativa de Falset-Marçà. Our Devinssi Winery, is bringing the artisan wines called “Il·lia”, “Mas de les Valls” and 
“Cupatge”, which you can taste there and, consequently, purchase some bottles to take home. At the Fair, you’ll also learn how to adopt a grapevine in DOQ Priorat or how can a grapevine adoption be a great gift idea.
Meanwhile, our wine shop will stick to its regular business hours at the entrance to the village of Gratallops. The Wine Fair in False is a great chance to spend a day or a weekend taking a wine tour in Priorat or Montsant in an unequalled natural setting of vineyards, olive groves and nut trees stretched across utterly picturesque terraces and steep slopes. Here, you’ll be able to taste wines brewed by tens and tens of different producers (among which many artisan wineries) who farm these rugged slate and clay soils.
Falset, the capital of Priorat, is in 30-40 min drive from Costa Daurada (Cambrils, Salou, La Pineda, Tarragona, Reus). You are very welcome to visit the Wine Fair in Priorat!
