Associative Networks in the Priorat

Building networks to grow with purpose

For a family-run winery, being part of local associations is far more than a formal affiliation: it is a way of understanding the project as part of a living ecosystem. Working collectively makes it possible to share knowledge, bring voices together, defend common interests and build a strong, coherent narrative of the Priorat, both from a winemaking and a tourism perspective.

At Celler Devinssi, we firmly believe in the value of joining forces: cooperation makes us more resilient, more visible and more responsible towards the landscape, the local community and the future of the territory. For this reason, we are active members of two key organisations: Priorat Enoturisme, since 2019, and the Associació de Cellers de Gratallops (ACG), since its foundation in 2023.

Priorat Enoturisme is a non-profit association that brings together wineries, rural accommodation, restaurants, guides, agencies and other local stakeholders around a shared vision: to promote high-quality, sustainable wine tourism that is deeply rooted in the Priorat.

Founded in 2013, the association emerged from the need to create a strong network capable of positioning the Priorat as a wine tourism destination of excellence, while preserving its landscape, culture and authenticity. Its work focuses on cooperation between local actors, the coordination of collective initiatives and the development of a coherent, respectful and long-term tourism offer.

Today, Priorat Enoturisme has more than sixty members and promotes joint marketing projects, training, advisory services and active wine tourism initiatives, as well as events such as Temps de Priorat Enoturisme, which help to reduce seasonality and strengthen local economic development.

Membership of Priorat Enoturisme has, over the years, resulted in concrete and ongoing collaborations with a wide range of local stakeholders.

We have taken part in numerous training programmes organised in collaboration with the School of Wine Tourism of Catalonia, particularly courses related to wine tourism, wine tasting and English for wineries.

Celler Devinssi has also been included in the tourism offer of associated agencies, such as El Brogit and Siurana Tours, becoming part of proposals that combine landscape, culture and wine.

On a gastronomic level, we work with several partner restaurants within the association, including Les Figueres, El Cairat, La Morera and Lotus Priorat, with whom we share visitors and complementary experiences.

Together with Mas Trucafort, we have organised several calçotades for participants in our pruning workshops, strengthening the link between training activities, territory and local gastronomy.

In addition, we regularly share visitors and customer flows with other member wineries of the association, such as Miró Cubells, Clos Figueras, Celler Pasanau, Cellers d’Scala Dei, Sangenís i Vaqué, Mas d’En Gil, Mas Sinén, Perinet and Clos Pachem.

Finally, we have taken part in collective actions organised by the association at the Fira del Vi in Falset, at Temps de Priorat Enoturisme, as well as in field visits and technical workshops organised in collaboration with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, contributing to the exchange of knowledge among professionals.

Associació de Cellers de Gratallops (ACG)

The Associació de Cellers de Gratallops (ACG) was established in September 2023 with the aim of bringing together the wineries of the village to work jointly on matters of shared interest and to reinforce the role of wine in the life and projection of Gratallops.

Currently, 26 of the 28 wineries registered under the DOQ Priorat in Gratallops are members of the ACG, making it a key stakeholder within the municipality. Its main objectives include increasing the visibility of the wineries and the village, defending common interests before public authorities, and organising outreach activities — tastings, events and training initiatives — to promote the local winegrowing culture among both residents and visitors.

Although it is a recently established association, the ACG has already demonstrated a strong capacity for action and coordination. Celler Devinssi has participated in several collective tastings organised by the association, as well as in the two editions of GrataPride (2024 and 2025), events that enhance the visibility of the village and its diversity.

The ACG has also proved particularly effective in the logistics of wine sales during the Tastets de Gratallops festival, organised by the local council, facilitating joint management that benefits both wineries and the visiting public.

Another key aspect is shared waste management: the association coordinates this service for most of its members, which is essential for small wineries like ours. Pooling this resource allows us to move forward in a realistic and efficient way towards increasingly sustainable practices, reducing both costs and environmental impact.

Joining forces is sustainability

Sustainability is not only an environmental issue: it is also social, economic and cultural. Joining forces among wineries and local stakeholders makes it possible to optimise resources, avoid sterile competition, strengthen collective identity and ensure that the growth of the Priorat remains balanced and respectful.

At Celler Devinssi, we see association-based cooperation as an essential tool for preserving the soul of the Priorat, ensuring its transmission to future generations and offering visitors authentic, deeply rooted and honest experiences.
