FIRA NADAL TIVISSA 2015 In fact, Priorat and the Ebro Lands are close neighbours. Just get behind the wheel and drive from the Ebro River's dynamic waters and prolific gardens, so in 20-30 minutes you'll land in a rugged area of vineyard slopes and terraces. And vice versa. So, on 5-6 December, during the Puríssima long weekend, there'll be a place to discover our wines in a very scenic village of Tivissa, located in the Ribera d'Ebre county.

2on Tast Solidari Pro Afanoc Associacio molinenca de tastOn Saturday, 28 November, at 8.30 pm, the Sala Gòtica in Molins de Rei will hous the second edition of the Charity Tasting Pro AFANOC arranged by Associació Molinenca de Tast. AFANOC stands for Association of Children with Cancer, and it includes fathers, mothers, friends and families of kids affected by this illness. All collected money will be allocated to to improve oncology children's life conditions at the Child Cancer and Hematology department of the Vall d'Hebron Mother and Child Hospital. The tasting gives a chance to taste wines and cavas from some of Catalonia's most important wineries

Well yes, September 2015 seems to have adhered to what the saying states. Being one of the most important factors for successful grape harvest, the weather did its job and made the harvest slow down throughout the month. The obtained grapes were plentiful and healthy. We managed to crop all Grenach and Cabernet plus a share of Carignan (younger vines).

Well, August is aready ever, a month that sometimes launches the grape harvest and sometimes puts it back... After a very hot July, we've lived some climatic conditions that recalled August, 2013. Some mild, heatless and very cloudy weather, with some occasional yet plentiful rains...

We’ve been reading the recent post by Campbell Bevan about top five tips for a wine tasting. We enjoyed reading it due to its slick and easy style, so that anyone from beginner to expert can understand it. We decided to borrow the outline of the post and provide it with another body, you know, Priorat-wine full body. We squeezed the five tips into four and added another one of our own consideration.
