Discovering Priorat through wine involves much more than walking into a winery and tasting its wines. It also means exploring its villages, observing its steep slopes and llicorella slate soils, discovering its local heritage and meeting the people who work in this remarkable landscape.
We are therefore delighted to announce that Celler Devinssi is now part of the DOQ Priorat / DO Montsant Wine Route: one region, two designations of origin, having completed the admission process and the assessment of the requirements established for participating wine tourism businesses.
Joining the route is an important step for our small winery, but above all, it is good news for anyone wishing to visit Priorat and plan an experience that brings together wine, gastronomy, scenery, culture and accommodation.
A route that is more than an itinerary
Despite its name, the Wine Route is not simply a road or a physical itinerary that visitors must follow from one place to another. It is a regional network of businesses and services connected with wine tourism.
Its members include wineries open to visitors, restaurants and wine bars, accommodation providers, farm shops and wine merchants, travel agencies, activity companies and transport services. This combination helps visitors plan a break according to their interests, the time they have available and where they are staying.
The route makes it possible to combine a winery visit in Priorat with a local meal, a cultural activity, a walk or an overnight stay in the area. It also helps travellers understand distances and opening times, which is especially useful in a rural region where many activities require advance booking.
The Priorat and Montsant Wine Route is also part of the Catalonia Wine Routes Network, an initiative that jointly promotes Catalonia’s wine tourism destinations.

What does Celler Devinssi bring to the route?
Celler Devinssi is an artisan winery founded in 2000, located in the centre of Gratallops and belonging to DOQ Priorat. We are a small team, and this scale shapes the way we welcome our guests.
We work with small groups and provide direct, personal attention. Visits must be booked in advance and include explanations about the winery, the landscape, the vineyards and the winemaking process, followed by a wine tasting in Gratallops featuring wines made by the winery itself.
Some types of visit may also include time in the vineyard, depending on the activity and the conditions at the time. Experiences are available in several languages for both local visitors and guests travelling from abroad.
We are not a large visitor centre, nor are we trying to reproduce a conventional luxury experience. What makes us different is our craftsmanship, personal approach, authenticity, landscape and human connection. We want every guest to understand the people and work behind each bottle, as well as the relationship between the wine and the place it comes from.
