“Vi de la vila” (Catalan for “village wine”) from Gratallops, DOQ Priorat, very artisan. Yield per vintage: 600 bottles. Owing to the fact that 95% of Priorat grapes are red varieties, we understand that this is truly a unique-item wine.
Varietals: Pedro Ximenez, White Grenache. Grapes are selected in the vineyard and in the warehouse. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Ageing in bottle.
Pale gold, transparent colour.
In the nose, it elicits the typical Priorat undergrowth vegetation (thyme, fennel, laurel, etc.) Aromas of baked apple, tropical fruit, aromatic herbs, notes of lime tree blossoms.
In the mouth, the wine is very warm, with balanced acidity and good persistence. The aftertaste is discreetly smoky and long.
