The time has come for calçotadas and the typical winter winemaking tasks! We offer you an authentic experience in a region recognized for its wines, its gastronomy and its scenic beauty.
From Gratallops (DOQ Priorat) and Falset (capital of the region), we invite you to participate in an enriching and delicious activity: a vineyard pruning workshop with calçotada.
Come this February and March to enjoy the Priorat panoramas and learn how to prune the vine.
During this experience, you will learn the basic techniques of vineyard pruning in a spectacular natural environment. Don’t worry, you won’t have to prune the entire estate! The goal is to learn about the process and enjoy an outdoor activity in good company. Once the workshop is over, we will enjoy a wine tasting and an authentic calçotada at the Mas Trucafort. restaurant.

Schedule:
🔹 10.30 – 11.00 – Meeting at Celler Devinssi
🔹 11.00 – 11.30 – Guided walk to the vineyard
🔹 11.30 – 13.00 – Vineyard pruning workshop and wine tasting
🔹 13.00 – 13.30 – Return to the village and possibility of buying wines
🔹 13.30 – 14.00 – Transfer to the Mas Trucafort restaurant (Falset)
🔹 14.00 – 16.00 – Lunch and calçotada
🌿 Outdoor activity (in case of strong winds, the wine tasting will take place in the cellar.) The calçotada will be held outside, and the rest of the meal will be held inside the restaurant.

- Calçots cooked on grapevine twigs
- Homemade romesco dressing

El Mas Trucafort és una masia braseria situada a 1,5 km de Falset, envoltada d’oliveres i nogueres, que destaca per la seva cuina al foc amb productes locals i de proximitat. Ofereixen plats senzills i autèntics, com l’arròs de tros, verdures, carns i peixos cuinats a la brasa. A més, durant la temporada de calçotades, de gener a finals de març o principis d’abril, serveixen calçots de cultiu propi cuinats a foc viu amb sarments i acompanyats de salsa romesco casolana. També organitzen sopars showcooking per a grups a partir de quatre persones, on els comensals poden gaudir de la preparació dels plats al voltant del foc de llenya amb el seu cuiner, en Roger. A més del restaurant, el Mas Trucafort ofereix allotjament només per a adults a la segona planta de la masia, amb cinc habitacions dobles amb bany privat i una cuina compartida. L’entorn natural i la tranquil·litat fan d’aquest lloc una opció ideal per desconnectar i gaudir de la gastronomia del Priorat.
