07 Jul Mas de les Valls white 2025 at Divendres DiVins: wine, music and heritage in Escaladei
There are summer afternoons that invite us to slow down, look at the landscape with fresh eyes and let the land tell its story through the senses. On Friday 24 July, Escaladei Charterhouse will host one of these special gatherings: the Divendres DiVins 2026 event dedicated to the DOQ Priorat.
We are delighted to announce that Celler Devinssi will be taking part with Mas de les Valls white 2025, a wine made in Gratallops that will feature in the appellation’s selection of wines. It will be a wonderful opportunity to taste it in a setting rich in meaning, accompanied by live music and another product closely linked to the area, the Reus hazelnut.
What is Divendres DiVins?
Divendres DiVins reaches its eleventh edition this year with a programme that brings together heritage, wine and artistic creation. Throughout the summer, the series visits different locations across the Tarragona, Terres de l’Ebre and Penedès regions, always guided by the same idea: discovering unique places while tasting wines from Catalan designations of origin and enjoying a live performance.
It is therefore far more than simply a wine tasting in the Priorat. Each gathering offers a different way to engage with an area, its culture and its products. The event on 24 July will be dedicated to the DOQ Priorat, with Escaladei Charterhouse as its setting.
A DOQ Priorat event at Escaladei Charterhouse
The gathering will begin at 7.30 pm and is expected to continue until 10.30 pm. During the evening, guests will be able to discover a selection of DOQ Priorat wines, including Mas de les Valls white 2025 from Celler Devinssi.
Music will be provided by Jazzul, whose sound combines blues, nu-jazz, pop and soul. This meeting of music and wine will also feature Reus Hazelnut PDO, bringing another representative product from the Tarragona region into the experience.

Escaladei Charterhouse is not merely the venue for the event. It is a place deeply connected to the history of the Priorat and the area’s winemaking tradition. Discovering or rediscovering it at dusk, with a glass of wine in hand and live music, offers an evocative way to understand the connection between landscape, heritage and wine culture.
Mas de les Valls white 2025, a white wine from Gratallops
The focus of our participation will be Mas de les Valls white 2025, a Priorat white wine made in Gratallops under the DOQ Priorat. It shares its name with Mas de les Valls red and refers to the valley where several of the winery’s vineyards are located.
The 2025 vintage is made from 62% Macabeu, 28% Grenache Blanc and 10% Pedro Ximénez. After vinification, it undergoes brief ageing on fine lees, which enhances the wine without overshadowing its delicate character.
On the nose, we find aromas of pear and white peach, white flowers, and citrus and honeyed undertones. It has a fresh, approachable and expressive profile, making it particularly well suited to sharing on a summer afternoon. At the table, it can accompany grilled fish, seafood rice dishes, soft cheeses and fresh starters.
For us, presenting it in Escaladei has special meaning. Mas de les Valls white 2025 is born of the day-to-day work of a small winery in Gratallops, but on this occasion it will be shared as part of a collective programme, alongside other wines that showcase the diversity of the DOQ Priorat.
Music, wine and local products
One of the attractions of Divendres DiVins is precisely this combination. Jazzul’s music will be an essential part of the atmosphere of the evening. Their sound will enter into dialogue with the wines, the setting and the gentle rhythm of a July night.
The presence of Reus Hazelnut PDO completes the gastronomic offering and reminds us that a region also tells its story through its products. Wine, hazelnuts, music and heritage will come together in one place, with no need to rush and with the chance to talk, taste and discover.
These kinds of activities in the Priorat also help give visibility to small projects such as Celler Devinssi. Taking part is a way of sharing what we do beyond the winery, meeting people who are interested in the wines of Gratallops and introducing the Priorat to those who wish to discover it from a cultural and human perspective.
