05 Feb Sunset, Wines and Bilingualism: Scott and Lynn’s Experience at Celler Devinssi
Some moments are etched into the memory, and the visit from Scott and Lynn, the creators of Wines Around the Globe, was certainly one of them. This past May 2024, they joined us for one of our favourite experiences: the sunset wine tasting.
A tasting without borders
That afternoon was particularly international. Scott and Lynn shared the experience with another French-speaking couple, which turned the evening into a bilingual tasting (English and French) guided by our very own Jordi [06:35]. It was a joy to see how the language of wine united people from such different backgrounds as the sun began to set over the vineyards of Gratallops.
The full experience
In their video, Scott describes in detail how we picked them up at the iconic oak tree at the entrance of the village to take them to the top of the vineyard [06:19]. There, they were able to enjoy:
- Our wines: They tasted three of our wines, letting themselves be captivated by the essence of DOQ Priorat [06:41].
- Local “pica-pica”: Our pairing featured local nuts, bread, and cheeses—the perfect accompaniment to the wines [06:41].
- Spectacular views: As a memento, they shared one of their favourite photos from the trip, with the sunset in the background, capturing the peace and beauty of our surroundings [07:01].

Scott and Lynn travel the world in search of the finest wine experiences, and we are thrilled that they included Celler Devinssi as one of their must-stop visits in Priorat. In their own words, they were delighted with the experience and are already planning their next trip to the region. [13:14].
