When you plan your trip to Priorat and plan to have lunch in Falset, one of the magical places is certainly the El Cairat Restaurant. From now on you can find two of our wines on the restaurant’s menu: IL·LIA and Rocapoll.
The restaurant is hidden in the old town of Falset, close to the town’s main thoroughfares and yet on a quiet street (address: Carrer Nou, number 3). Mercè, the owner, chef and above all the soul of the restaurant, strives to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, full of warmth and calm.
The El Cairat restaurant is renowned for its traditional Catalan cuisine made with organic and local products. It offers options for vegetarians and vegans, and has a wide selection of wines with the Priorat and Montsant Designation of Origin.
Their menu varies according to the season, highlighting dishes such as grilled cod fillets with grilled vegetables or sausage timbale with fried white beans. They also offer a tasting menu and a daily menu from Tuesday to Friday, with options such as pig’s trotters with grilled vegetables or hazelnut soup with crispy carquinyolis.
