On 29 June, the LGTBIQ+ GrataPride festival will be held in Gratallops.

Today we bring you the programme of the event.

• 11.30 am – 12.30 pm – Book and wine pairing + book exchange
• 11.30 am – 12.30 pm- LGTBIQ+ Storytelling for kids by Gal·la Rouge
• 12.30 – 2.00 pm – LGTBIQ+ round table with the participation of:
  • Judith Juanhuix (researcher and PhD in physics and trans activist),
  • Gal·la Rouge (drag queen from Prades, writer and LGBTIQ+ activist),
  • Xavier Florensa (General Director of LGBTI+ Public Policies, Generalitat de Catalunya),
  • Alex Bixquert (activist and former president of LGBTI Terrassa),
  • Jordi Ribas (VINSEUM),
  • Jordi Ustrell (Celler Devinssi).
  • Moderator: Josep Ahumada (artist, actor and theatrical director from Falset).
• 12.30 – 1.30 pm – Building a rainbow
• 2.00 – 5.00 pm – Time to have lunch and enjoy the surroundings
• 5.00 pm – Purchase / collection of tickets for tastings
• 6.00 pm – Official opening by Sergi Méndez, Illustrious President of the County Council
  – Keynote address by Judith Juanhuix, researcher and doctor in physics and trans activist.
• 6.30 – 9.30 pm – The Wine Pride of the Priorat. Tastings at the Wineries. The price of the tasting is €25 and covers 20 Gratallops wineries + 2 guest DO Montsant wineries. The ticket reservation for the tastings must be made through Entradium:

For those arriving in Gratallops on Friday 28 June, there will be a pre-opening event: WINES TO MAKE YOU “SWITCH SIDES”: at 8pm on the terrace of the Cal Llop hotel.

Wines are white, the wines are red, wines are rosé, with bubbles, without bubbles… but I’m sure we’ve all heard this expression more than once: white wines with fish and red wines with meat.

What if we start breaking the code? Do you dare to discover transgressive wines that will make you salivate just imagining alternative pairings? There are white wines that go perfectly with some roast duck, for example, and red wines that are fantastic with some monkfish or roux.

Do you want to be one of the daring ones to taste wines that will make you “switch sides” in your pairings?

• There will be 6 wines: 3 white and 3 red
• Time and place: 8.00pm-9.30pm on the Cal Llop terrace.
